FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said that “Formula 3 is where many drivers begin to prove themselves on the international stage” before he continues to say “Providing young talent with these experiences is fundamental to building the future of our sport, and I look forward to watching this next generation rise to the challenge throughout the 2027 season.”
Writer’s Opinion
When I first saw the calendars, I was shocked at some of the announcements. I think the main one for me is Jeddah being included in F3 is quite shocking. I know Madring was very safe apart from the Feature Race 1 crash but Jeddah is a different type of circuit at a different time of the year where the risks can be made. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
As for F2, Mexico City is a surprise and will present a new challenge to all drivers at the high altitude and the mechachrome engines which will give everyone a run for their money.
